As part of its expansion into the Kansas City market, Russell Construction, a Davenport, Iowa-based general contractor, partnered with Bell | Knott to establish a new regional office in Leawood, Kansas. With a reputation built on collaboration, integrity, and client-focused service, Russell sought a workplace that would support its growing team while reflecting the company's established culture and identity.

The design transforms a previously unbranded office suite into a welcoming, contemporary workplace with a distinct personality. Inspired by the company's Irish heritage, the design concept, *Sláinte*, meaning "cheers," emphasizes hospitality, connection, and a sense of community. At the heart of the office, an expansive break area serves as a central gathering space, featuring a custom kitchen, generous island seating, warm wood ceiling elements, and a mix of casual dining and lounge furniture. A glass overhead door connects the space to an adjacent meeting room, allowing the two areas to function together for larger company gatherings and events.

Throughout the office, Russell's signature blue, integrated branding, and carefully selected finishes reinforce the company's identity. Open workstations, private offices, and collaborative spaces balance everyday functionality with opportunities for interaction. The result is a flexible, people-centered workplace that supports Russell Construction's continued growth in Kansas City while creating a welcoming home for its team and clients.
