AIA, LEED AP BD+C
Abbas studied Architecture at the CEPT University graduating in 1991. He followed with a Master’s in Urban and Regional Planning from the CEPT University in 1993. With a continued desire for knowledge and education he graduated with a Master’s in Urban Planning with a focus on Landuse and Environmental Planning from the University of Kansas in 1996. He is a licensed architect in Kansas and Missouri and is a member of the AIA. Abbas has the NCARB registration and is an accredited LEED AP BD+C professional. He is a licensed architect in India too.
Working with Bell-Knott since 2014, Abbas brings experience ranging from Commercial and Retail to Entertainment, Hospitality, Institutional and Residential projects across the USA and multiple countries. His design thought revolves around form and function and customizing solutions to client needs. He focuses on creating sustainable spaces by design.
Abbas has worked on interior and furniture design projects too. He has a passion for design in any form and has experimented with jewelry and garment design as a hobby. He also pursues digital art, photography and composes poetry on occasion.
