Q2 Solutions Laboratories (formerly Quintiles) wanted to merge their laboratory (the largest in Europe) and two business divisions, all located in the Edinburgh, Scotland area, within a single facility. A new 114,000 SF building was recently completed to suit the program. The building fabric consists of composite wall panels, composite roofing system and concrete floors. The building was awarded a VERY GOOD rating under BRE’s Environmental Assessment Method (BREEAM), equivalent of LEED GOLD.
